Singer Cassie Ventura’s court testimony has revealed a previously undisclosed layer of jealousy and suspicion from Sean "Diddy" Combs, including his belief that she was romantically involved with actor Michael B. Jordan. The revelation came during Cassie’s cross-examination on Thursday, as part of her explosive legal proceedings involving allegations of abuse and control spanning their decade-long relationship.

During questioning by Diddy’s attorney, Anna Estevao, Cassie confirmed that while filming Honey 3 Dare to Dance in South Africa in 2015, Diddy believed she was romantically involved with Jordan. 

“Mr. Combs suspected you of [having] a relationship with whom?” Estevao asked. “Michael B. Jordan,” Cassie responded, according to court transcripts shared by journalist Matthew Russell Lee.

Jealousy, Threats, and a Pattern of Abuse

This suspicion emerged after the couple's breakup in 2015, reportedly triggered when Cassie saw a photo of Diddy with another woman named Gina  someone he had previously denied being involved with. After blocking Diddy, Cassie allegedly began dating Jordan. She testified that Diddy became furious and even placed a threatening call to the actor.

The mention of Michael B. Jordan isn’t new in the legal saga. In Cassie’s 2023 civil lawsuit against Combs, she referenced a “flirtation” with an unnamed actor during the same period. That suit was quickly settled for $20 million.

The trial also revisited earlier incidents, including Cassie’s brief 2011 relationship with rapper Kid Cudi. She testified that Diddy repeatedly accused her of infidelity and became enraged. According to Ventura, Diddy once threatened to blow up Cudi’s car and shortly thereafter, Cudi’s car did indeed explode in his driveway. A representative for Kid Cudi confirmed the story in 2023.

So far, neither Diddy, Michael B. Jordan, nor Kid Cudi has commented publicly on the testimony.
