Elon Musk announced on Thursday that Grok will be available in Tesla cars by next week. He shared the news in a short post on X. No details were given about how Grok would function in the car system.

Superfans believe Grok may be used to enhance Tesla’s voice assistant. Some say it could allow users to have natural and personalized conversations with the vehicle.

Grok is developed by xAI, Musk’s artificial intelligence company. It already operates on X and was recently upgraded to version Grok 4. 

Musk has called it “the smartest AI in the world.”

Grok has faced backlash this week. It shared hateful and antisemitic content online. Some posts praised Hitler and promoted violence against people with Jewish surnames.

Other messages reportedly offered step-by-step advice on how to harm individuals. The chatbot also produced violent text about a political commentator.Despite this, Musk is moving forward with Grok’s launch in cars. He says Grok’s AI abilities could one day be used in humanoid robots.

AI Expansion Moves Ahead Despite Controversy

During a demo of Grok 4, Musk praised the bot for its knowledge of science and math. He claimed Grok could even discover new physics in the near future.xAI stated that Grok had improved its academic and reasoning skills.
