Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing explosive allegations in his ongoing federal trial, with a former employee testifying that the music mogul kidnapped her at gunpoint in a plot to murder rapper Kid Cudi.
Capricorn Clark, who served as global brand director at Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment, testified in a New York courtroom on Tuesday that Combs stormed into her apartment uninvited in 2011, accompanied by a security guard and armed with a firearm. According to Clark, Combs was furious over his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura’s relationship with Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi.
“He told me, ‘Get dressed. We’re going to go kill this” she recalled.
Diddy's Alleged Kidnapping and Threats
Clark stated that she was coerced into a car and driven against her will to Kid Cudi’s home in Los Angeles. Once there, she remained outside as Combs and his guard entered the property. During this time, Clark discreetly called Cassie Ventura to alert her. When Combs discovered the call, his anger reportedly escalated.
Following the incident, Combs allegedly told Clark that she wouldn’t be released unless she and Ventura could convince Cudi that Combs had nothing to do with a recent break-in at the rapper’s residence. “If you don’t convince him of that, I’ll kill all you,” Clark testified.
Kid Cudi had previously testified about that break-in, as well as a Molotov cocktail attack that damaged his Porsche—an incident he suspects Combs orchestrated.
When questioned by the defense, Clark denied voluntarily joining Combs during the alleged incident. She also testified that Combs had threatened her on her first day of employment, warning her not to let past affiliations interfere with his operations.
Despite years of what she described as coercion and fear, Clark said she remained employed under Combs due to his power and prominence in the industry.
Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution-related offenses. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
