Diddy Refuses to Testify in Ongoing Sex Trafficking Trial
Diddy has chosen not to testify in his sex trafficking trial, with his legal team also opting not to call any witnesses. Closing arguments are set for June 26, and he faces a potential life sentence if convicted. Rumors of a possible pardon from Donald Trump have circulated, with Suge Knight expressing confidence that Diddy will avoid prison. Knight also criticized the trial as unfair to Hip Hop culture.

Sean "Diddy" Combs has officially declined to testify in his ongoing sex trafficking trial, a decision that has added another layer of intrigue to the already high-profile case. After prosecutors rested their case, Diddy addressed the court to confirm that he would not be taking the stand in his own defense.

When asked by the judge, “Is it your decision not to testify in this case?” Diddy responded calmly, “That is my decision, your honor. It is solely my decision.”

His legal team also chose not to call any witnesses, indicating a confident or calculated legal strategy as they rested their defense.

Closing Arguments Begin as Speculation Swirls Around a Potential Trump Pardon

With closing arguments scheduled for June 26, the case will then move into the hands of the jury. If convicted, Diddy faces the possibility of life in prison a staggering outcome for one of the most influential figures in hip-hop history.

Amid the gravity of the case, rumors have surfaced suggesting Diddy could be in line for a presidential pardon from Donald Trump. The former president has publicly stated he would "consider" a pardon, pending a review of the facts. The speculation was further fueled by Suge Knight, co-founder of Death Row Records and a longtime rival of Diddy, who shared his thoughts during a recent interview with NewsNation.

“I think Puffy’s going to be alright,” Suge said. “He’s got government connections, and if he’s convicted, I believe Trump will pardon him.” Despite their history, Suge added that he does not believe Diddy deserves prison time. “We’re not friends, but Puffy should walk free,” he declared.

Knight also expressed frustration that Diddy is the only music executive facing charges, calling it “a sad day for Hip Hop.”
