The federal sex-trafficking trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs continued into its third week Tuesday with explosive testimony from Capricorn Clark, a former personal assistant and marketing director who once worked closely with the Bad Boy Entertainment founder.
Taking the stand, Clark revealed that her very first day on the job was marred by a chilling threat from Combs himself. According to her testimony, Combs confronted her after learning about her past association with Death Row Records the West Coast label led by Suge Knight, one of Combs’s most well-known rivals during the height of the East Coast–West Coast rap feud.
“He told me he didn’t know I had any connection to Suge Knight,” Clark testified. “And if anything were to happen because of that, he said he would have to kill me.”
Her statement comes amid a trial already filled with disturbing allegations. Last week, jurors were presented with dramatic accounts involving firearms, extortion attempts, and even an alleged incident where a vehicle was set ablaze.
Diddy’s Further Testimony and Federal Allegations
Federal prosecutors are expected to continue building their case by calling witnesses from both the Los Angeles Police Department and Fire Department, indicating that law enforcement response to incidents connected to Combs will be a key focus of the trial.
Adding further weight to the prosecution's case, rapper Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi testified that in December 2011, he received a call from Clark warning him that Combs had broken into his Hollywood Hills home. The alleged break-in occurred after Combs reportedly discovered Cudi’s involvement with his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura.
Combs was arrested in September 2024 and is facing charges including sex trafficking, conspiracy to transport individuals for prostitution, and racketeering. He has publicly denied all accusations and maintains his innocence as the high-profile trial unfolds.
