DRAKE’S SAVAGE MOVE: Disrespects DeMar DeRozan by Tossing His Jersey Mid Concert
Drake and DeMar DeRozan’s once close friendship has turned into an ongoing feud. During his Anita Max Wynn tour stop in Sydney, Drake made headlines by disrespecting DeRozan’s jersey onstage, shaking his head and tossing it to the ground. Their fallout reportedly stems from DeRozan supporting Kendrick Lamar amid his rap battle. Drake later called DeRozan a "goof" on live TV, making it clear that their relationship is beyond repair.

Drake Sends Shockwaves in Sydney with Apparent Dig at Former Friend DeMar DeRozan

Once close friends, Drake and DeMar DeRozan now appear to be locked in an irreparable rift, with the rapper making his feelings crystal clear during a recent concert.

As Drake’s Anita Max Wynn tour continued through Australia and New Zealand, he made a stop in Sydney at the Qudos Bank Arena delivering electrifying performances. However, one moment during his set sent shockwaves through the crowd.

While performing Rich Flex, Drake was seen holding up a camouflage jersey from DeRozan’s mid 2010s tenure with the Toronto Raptors. After taking a quick glance at it, he shook his head in disapproval before forcefully tossing it to the ground, a clear sign of contempt.

This public display of resentment marks another chapter in their deteriorating relationship. For years, Drake and DeRozan shared a strong friendship, bonding over basketball, music, and their shared love for Toronto. Even after DeRozan was traded to the San Antonio Spurs and later the Chicago Bulls, they maintained their connection.

However, everything changed when DeRozan was traded to the Sacramento Kings. What started as subtle tension escalated into an all out feud, seemingly fueled by DeRozan’s support for Kendrick Lamar during his now-infamous Pop Out concert.

Drake reportedly viewed DeRozan’s presence at Kendrick’s show as a major betrayal, considering the heated rap battle between him and Lamar. But the final straw came when DeRozan made a cameo in Lamar’s “Not Like Us” music video which heavily mocked Drake.

Feeling slighted, Drake publicly called out DeRozan during a live Raptors game, dismissing him as a goof on air. When asked if DeRozan’s jersey should be retired, he doubled down, declaring,

“If you ever put up a DeRozan banner, I’ll go up there and pull it down myself.”

Since then, the two have exchanged indirect shots, making it clear their once-close bond is beyond repair. With Drake now openly disrespecting DeRozan’s legacy on stage, it’s evident that their feud is far from over.
