Fat Joe Hit with $20M Lawsuit Alleging Sexual Abuse of Underage Girls; Rapper Denies Claims

Rapper Fat Joe is at the center of a shocking lawsuit filed by his former hype man, Terrance “T.A.”Dixon, who is accusing the Bronx-born artist of a wide range of serious misconduct.

The lawsuit, filed in court this week, seeks up to $20 million in damages and alleges everything from sexual manipulation and labor exploitation to financial fraud and abuse involving minors.

Dixon’s lawsuit paints a disturbing picture of the rapper’s alleged behavior over a span of years. He claims that Fat Joe—real name Joseph Cartagena—forced him into more than 4,000 coerced sex acts, some of which were reportedly conducted under surveillance and with threats of being abandoned in foreign countries if he didn’t comply.

Disturbing Allegations of Sexual Activity with Minors

Perhaps the most damaging allegations involve underage girls. Dixon states in the lawsuit that he personally witnessed Fat Joe engage in sexual acts with girls aged 15 and 16 years old. One 16-year-old girl, referred to as “Minor Doe 1,” allegedly performed sex acts in exchange for money, clothing, and cell phone bill payments.

Another girl, “Minor Doe 2,” was reportedly just 15 when she began a sexual relationship with Fat Joe after a concert overseas. According to the filing, the rapper flew her to Miami and New York on several occasions and even paid for her to receive a Brazilian Butt Lift, noting that her body was “adolescent and not fully formed.” She is now said to be married to a professional athlete.

Dixon also claims that Fat Joe orchestrated group sex involving himself, Dixon, female dancers, and underage participants.

Fat Joe has secured legal representation from high-profile attorney Joe Tacopina, known for previously representing A$AP Rocky. Tacopina strongly condemned the lawsuit, calling it a clear act of retaliation.
