Jury Watches Explicit 'Freak-Off' Videos as Diddy Trial Enters Sixth Week

The federal sex trafficking trial of hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs entered its sixth week with prosecutors presenting explicit video evidence to the jury. These videos, reportedly filmed by Combs himself during drug-fueled sexual encounters dating back to 2014, are central to the prosecution’s case, which alleges decades-long abuse and exploitation.

On Monday, jurors were shown three sex tapes reportedly provided by Combs’s former longtime partner, R&B singer Casandra "Cassie" Ventura.

One of the videos shown was filmed in 2012, the same day prosecutors say Combs engaged in a “freak-off” a term used in the case to describe marathon sex sessions involving Ventura and a known sex worker, Sharay Hayes, who also went by the nickname “The Punisher.”

Due to the graphic nature of the footage, members of the public and media were not permitted to view the videos. According to reports, some jurors appeared visibly uncomfortable during the presentation, though most reactions remained restrained. Until this point in the trial, only still images from the videos had been shown.

Juror Dismissed Amid Controversy as Defense Prepares Case

A significant development unfolded during the sixth week of Sean "Diddy" Combs's federal sex trafficking trial when a Black juror was dismissed from the case. The move sparked controversy in the courtroom, with the defense team strongly objecting, citing concerns over the loss of racial diversity on the jury panel. The dismissal occurred just as prosecutors began presenting graphic video evidence central to their case against Combs.

While the judge did not publicly elaborate on the reason for the juror’s removal, the defense argued it could undermine the fairness and representation within the jury. This moment has added tension to an already high-profile trial involving serious allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse.

As prosecutors near the end of their case, Combs’s legal team is preparing to call witnesses in an attempt to counter the charges and portray the controversial events as consensual relationships and behaviors.
