Simon Guobadia, the estranged husband of reality TV star Porsha Williams, has reportedly been detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a move that has sparked widespread reactions on social media. This incident comes at a time when the U.S. is seeing an intensification of deportation efforts, especially targeting individuals with questionable immigration statuses. 

In a post shared on her Instagram Stories, Porsha expressed disappointment in Simon’s actions, which she believed contributed to his current predicament. Despite her frustrations, she made it clear that her main focus remains on her family, particularly during this challenging time. 

“It’s disheartening to see my estranged husband make choices that have led to this outcome. At this moment, my priority is moving forward with my family,” Porsha wrote, emphasizing that her family comes first.

The comments section was flooded with reactions from social media users, many of whom questioned Simon’s past decisions. Several followers pointed out the irony of Simon’s flashy lifestyle and public persona, given his alleged immigration issues. One Instagram user, @carib_dondada, sarcastically remarked, “So none of his marriages gave him citizenship?” while another user, @_anuel, suggested that Simon could have avoided this situation by staying single.

Other users criticized Simon for his public behavior, with @balexanderj advising him to “lay low” instead of trying to grab attention. There were also questions about his ability to re-enter the U.S. after his wedding in Nigeria, with @justkeebz writing, “So how was he allowed entry back into the US after his wedding in Nigeria? Make it make sense.”
