SZA Slams Shannon Sharpe Over “Tacky” BBL Question in Club Shay Shay Interview

During the episode, Sharpe took an unusual turn in the conversation by referencing SZA’s previous comments about regretting her BBL. Instead of keeping the discussion relevant to Jones, he decided to ask the ICU singer whether she had ever spoken to anyone who shared similar regrets about undergoing cosmetic surgery. Visibly caught off guard by the question, Jones responded with a careful and neutral answer, saying, “Um, no,” before adding, “The girls that I talk to, they be like, ‘Girl, do this.’”

SZA wasted no time reacting to the viral moment. She quickly jumped into the podcast’s comment section to voice her displeasure. “Lmaooo now why would this be a question for Coco,” she wrote. “Poor baby, she handled it well now Shay Shay.”

However, she didn’t stop there. Sharpe’s question stemmed from SZA’s candid interview with British Vogue in November 2024, where she openly admitted that she initially regretted her decision to undergo surgery. “I was so mad,” she revealed at the time. “I gained all this weight from being immobile while recovering and trying to preserve the fat.
