President Trump To Host UFC Fight On White House ground In 2026

President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he will host a UFC fight on the grounds of the White House in 2026 as part of America’s 250th anniversary celebration.

Speaking at the America 250 kickoff event in Iowa Trump said the White House will be one of several historic sites to feature special patriotic events next year. The fight will be part of a broader campaign to bring sports and national pride together in a powerful display of strength and tradition.

“We’re going to have a UFC fight – think of this – on the grounds of the White House.” – Trump.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the announcement and said the president is “dead serious” about the plan. UFC also acknowledged discussions are underway but declined to share further details at this stage.

UFC White House Showdown Signals Shift In Presidential Traditions

Trump’s ties to the UFC run deep. He helped the organization in its early years when few venues would host its events and CEO Dana White has remained a close ally. White introduced Trump at the Republican National Convention and continues to appear at campaign events.

The president has attended several UFC fights in recent months including events in New Jersey Miami and New York City. At one event Trump walked out alongside fighters becoming the first sitting president to take part in the traditional UFC entrance.

Trump also announced the “Patriot Games” — a national high school competition led by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy — as part of the anniversary festivities. These events are aimed at energizing young men who admire sports discipline and patriotism.
