President Donald Trump has launched a formal investigation into what he calls a dangerous cover-up by Joe Biden’s aides who he accuses of using autopen signatures to carry out executive decisions while hiding Biden’s cognitive decline. Trump issued a memorandum on Wednesday night saying there is growing evidence that the former President was mentally incompetent and that aides abused presidential power. 

“With the exception of the rigged presidential election of 2020 the autopen is the biggest political scandal in American history,” Trump said on social media.

He claimed over 1,200 official documents were issued and more than 200 judges were appointed while Biden was unfit to lead. Trump argues these actions may not have involved Biden at all and that autopen use made them invalid.

Trump Targets Biden’s Advisors and Signature Scandal

According to the memo Trump says the Department of Justice has evidence Biden broke the law but could not be prosecuted due to his mental condition. Trump accuses Biden’s team of scripting his conversations limiting press conferences and misleading the nation. He wants Attorney General Pam Bondi to review who approved the autopen use for clemency grants executive orders and other key policy moves. Trump insists these actions created a false public image of a functioning presidency. 

The investigation will also focus on whether Biden’s aides coordinated to issue false statements about his health and ability. Trump has called the scandal one of the biggest in U.S. political history and says the truth must come out.
