Trump Says Iran May Finally Come To Table After Brutal Israeli Attack

President Donald Trump said Friday that the door is still open for a nuclear agreement with Iran even after Israel carried out heavy airstrikes on Iranian nuclear and military sites. Trump had given Iran 60 days to come to the table but said they missed that window.

Now on day 61 with widespread destruction in Tehran and escalating conflict he believes Iran may finally negotiate. Trump spoke after a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and just before an extended meeting with his national security team. The strikes hit top Iranian targets including scientists and missile facilities. Netanyahu said the regime made a serious mistake and warned that more action will come.

Iran responded by launching at least 150 ballistic missiles at Israel on Friday evening which injured 15 people and damaged parts of Tel Aviv. Ayatollah Khomeini vowed revenge and accused Israel of violating their airspace and killing their martyrs. Trump said he expected this timeline and always knew when Israel would strike if no deal was made. He expressed hope that the damage would finally push Iran to take negotiations seriously.

Trump Remains Hopeful For Peace Despite Growing Middle East Tensions

Trump emphasized on Truth Social that Iran must act now before there is nothing left to save. He called for Iran to avoid further slaughter and return to the table. Trump said that Iran had been close to a deal before but failed to commit.

“Maybe now they will negotiate seriously.” – Trump.

With destruction mounting and the next wave of Israeli action already planned he believes peace is still possible. The White House has not released an official plan but Trump’s public comments suggest he is ready to strike a deal if Iran agrees soon.
